Technology has significantly improved lately, as has AI. There are platforms that will do this for you if you want.
The platforms can also identify your highlights for you easily, without the editing.
So, why a highlight reel?
Hundreds of thousands of players are playing at ECNL and MLS Next, vying for a spot in a professional academy, or in college. A highlight reel helps you stand out.
You go to a showcase. Hundreds of games happen across a weekend. A coach can only see one at a time. Your highlight reel will help convince them they should watch you.
It’s a really positive reminder of how hard you work and how good you are. Self belief is imperative at this stage in your soccer career.
