What is yours?
I consider my own roadmap, style of play, and philosophy, plus the players goals before I even start on their plan.
The process then goes into:
Delivery - execution of my own road map, style of play, and philosophy that provides the environment in which the player has every opportunity to succeed in their plan.
Learn - what is working and what is not. Learn by asking and watching about the players experience.
Review - officially in meetings with the player and their family and review, personally, every time I work with that player*.
*every player, honestly!
It is a constant cycle that I use and encourage everyone to have in one format or another. Live by it, allow yourself to be held accountable, deliver it to your players, and watch them flourish.
